Here's Logie and BJ with their snowboards. They had fun in Little Bear School and were very eager to show us what they learned! I don't think they cared that it was cold--they were having too much fun! Logie really didn't want to wear his beanie because he said it was hot. I had to tell him that his ears were red and were going to fall off to get him to put his beanie back on. Brad had regrets about not getting any video of me snowboarding. Honestly, he would've gotten more of me falling than anything else! I didn't get any video of him, so I told him that we're even! As always, click on the picture to view a larger version.



Snow Summit(the mountain where we snowboarded) was full of amenities! This is just one of many buildings on the mountain. (There's even a restaurant at the top of one of the ski lifts with a gorgeous view.) Snow Summit Inn is where we got our lockers and where we got food (you get ravenous after a while; but eat fast because your food doesn't stay warm long!) The deck faces the mountain so you could just sit & watch everyone coming down the runs from there.



As I waited for Brad & Cody to finish one of their runs, I noticed the sun was setting. The lower part of this picture is the open area where the Little Bear skiers/boarders first start learning before they take them on the beginner runs. The upper part of the picture is the intermediate run right above Little Bear School. Isn't it pretty? The mountain is actually open to skiers & boarders until 9:30 p.m.
