Another morning with no "magic." No one can seem to get up to use the Magic Morning passes. I actually slept in because I was finally going to get to meet my friend Alana Zeller at 9:30 a.m. at Ihop for breakfast. Logie & BJ chose to stay with me. Brad, Cody & Brooke headed off to Disneyland and we were going to meet them there after breakfast.
I "met" Alana in a scrapbooking chat room nearly 13 years ago. I remember that Cody was just a baby then. We kept in touch over the years but we've never met in person. I finally got to see her and that was so exciting! It was a little distracting with Logie & BJ because they decided to fight and then Logie had a toothache and kept crying (he couldn't eat.) Alana, if you're reading this, I apologize that we were interrupted so much! I am glad that we got some time together even if it was way too short. I would've preferred going to Kohl's with her ;) wink! She also lives in Murrieta where the Johnsons live. Next time, I will definitely try to set more time to spend with her.
Logie, BJ & I headed over to California Adventure to meet Brad & the other kids. We got to see the Aladdin Musical Show at the Hyperion Theatre and that was awesome! At 3:00 p.m. we left the park to go to Aunty Pinky & Uncle Domi's house for dinner. The kids got to meet their cousins and aunties & uncles. So that my kids will remember, I'll list them here (I don't know if I'm spelling their names right.)
Aunty Railene and Cousin Shiloh
Uncle Dominic (Doi) & Cousins Cassandra (Cass/Leolani) & David (Kalei)
May Sardon and her three kids were there, Tori (Nui), Noah & Micah
They had a blast playing hide & go seek in the house. The kids were all within the same age ranges with Logie being the youngest so they integrated nicely together. It was cold and dark outside so they played inside. I honestly don't know how ten kids did that but we were laughing with them; it was so funny! Brad & I really value family and are glad that the kids got to meet their relatives that don't live in Hawaii. We encourage them to get to know their family because they will never know where life will take them! We told them that they needed to learn to take care of their family & nurture their relationships with them. When someone asked which Disney character Logie was taking home with him, he said that he was taking the princess home. He said he wanted to take Cinderella home with him. How funny is that?!
The evening ended too soon at about 9:00 p.m. and we headed back to Disneyland. We figured that since it was our last night, we'd stay until closing even though we were all close to falling asleep. We were hoping to go back to California Adventure so I could ride the Tower of Terror but the park was already closed. We did a little souvenir shopping at Disneyland and we finally got to ride It's a Small World! That was so cute and I taped the whole ride! Cody was happy that the ride didn't repeat the song "It's a Small World" over & over again. It actually had Christmas music.
Ride Log for today:
Disneyland
Matterhorn (Brad, Cody & Brooke went on this one)
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters (Brad, Cody & Brooke)
